Role Purpose:
The Head of Family Office will be responsible for the strategic management of the familys investment portfolio across public equities, private markets, and fixed income instruments. The incumbent will serve as a trusted advisor to the family, ensuring prudent capital allocation, robust risk management, and sustainable long-term wealth creation.
Key Responsibilities:Investment Strategy & Portfolio Oversight:- Formulate and implement comprehensive investment strategies across asset classes including equities, private equity/venture capital, and debt instruments.
- Oversee the evaluation, selection, and execution of investment opportunities, with a focus on optimizing risk-adjusted returns.
- Conduct in-depth research, market analysis, and financial due diligence to support investment decisions.
- Establish asset allocation frameworks in line with the familys objectives, liquidity needs, and risk appetite.
Wealth Preservation & Risk Management:- Monitor and review the performance of the consolidated portfolio, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
- Develop robust risk management processes to safeguard capital while pursuing growth opportunities.
- Maintain investment governance standards and ensure full compliance with all applicable regulations.
Advisory & Stakeholder Management:- Provide independent, data-driven investment advice to the family and act as the principal point of contact for all investment matters.
- Build and maintain relationships with external fund managers, advisors, bankers, and institutions to source and evaluate opportunities.
- Present periodic investment reports, performance reviews, and market outlooks to the principals.
Candidate Profile:Education & Credentials:- Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) preferred.
- Master of Business Administration (MBA) from top-tier business school is strongly preferred.
Experience:- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in investment management, portfolio management, or wealth advisory.
- Proven track record as an investment advisor to family offices, UHNWIs, or institutional investors.
- Demonstrated expertise across multiple asset classes: public markets, private equity/VC, and debt instruments.
