Purpose of the Job:
- The Analyst - Equity & Debt will support the Family Office in managing and monitoring investments across public equities, PMS/AIFs, fixed income instruments, and related financial products. The role involves conducting investment research, tracking portfolio performance, evaluating opportunities, and supporting strategic decision-making to ensure wealth preservation and long-term value creation.
- The position requires strong analytical capabilities, financial acumen, and the ability to work closely with investment advisors, fund managers, and internal stakeholders.
Job Role and Key Responsibilities :
Investment Research & Portfolio Management :
- Conduct detailed research and analysis on public equities, debt instruments, PMS, mutual funds, AIFs, and other investment products.
- Track macroeconomic trends, market developments, sector performance, and investment opportunities across capital markets.
- Support formulation and implementation of investment strategies aligned with the family office's objectives and risk appetite.
- Monitor portfolio allocation across asset classes and provide recommendations for rebalancing where required.
- Analyze financial statements, valuation metrics, earnings trends, and market data to support investment decisions.
- Prepare investment notes, comparative analysis, and performance dashboards for review by senior leadership/principals.
Wealth Preservation & Risk Monitoring :
- Track portfolio performance against benchmarks and defined investment objectives.
- Monitor exposure, concentration risks, liquidity positions, and market volatility across investments.
- Assist in developing and maintaining investment governance and reporting processes.
- Ensure investment records, documentation, and compliance-related requirements are maintained accurately.
Stakeholder & Advisor Coordination :
- Coordinate with PMS managers, wealth advisors, banks, brokers, fund houses, and external consultants for investment-related activities.
- Support evaluation of new investment products, fund managers, and debt opportunities.
- Prepare periodic MIS, investment summaries, and market outlook presentations for principals and senior stakeholders.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism while handling sensitive financial information.
Skills & Knowledge Required Skills / Competencies required for this Role :
- Strong understanding of equity markets, debt instruments, and portfolio management concepts.

Educational Qualification
- Graduate / Postgraduate from a Tier-1 institution in Finance, Economics, Commerce, or related disciplines.
- CFA (completed or Level 2).
Work Experience :
- 2-5 years of experience in Family Office, Wealth Management, Investment Research, PMS, Equity Research, or Financial Advisory roles.
- Experience in tracking and analyzing public equity and debt investments is essential.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) :
- Quality and timeliness of investment analysis and reporting.
- Portfolio tracking accuracy and monitoring effectiveness.
- Support in generating risk-adjusted investment outcomes.
- Effectiveness of coordination with external advisors and investment partners.
- Quality of insights provided for investment decision-making.
