Role Overview:

As the DVP - Business Finance, you will serve as a strategic financial partner to the leadership team, driving the fiscal health and operational efficiency of the organization. You will be responsible for translating complex financial data into actionable business insights, overseeing rigorous budgeting and forecasting cycles, and ensuring robust financial governance across business units. Working closely with cross-functional department heads and executive stakeholders, you will play a pivotal role in shaping long-term growth strategies, optimizing capital allocation, and enhancing bottom-line performance. This position is based in Mumbai and requires a leader who can navigate high-stakes environments to deliver measurable impact on the company's profitability and market positioning.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the annual operating plan and rolling forecast processes to ensure alignment between financial targets and strategic business objectives.

- Partner with business unit leaders to identify cost-optimization opportunities and revenue enhancement levers that directly impact EBITDA margins.

- Drive comprehensive financial modeling and sensitivity analysis to support investment decisions, new market entries, and capital expenditure requests.

- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to provide the executive team with real-time visibility into business performance and operational risks.

- Oversee the preparation of detailed management information system (MIS) reports to facilitate data-driven decision-making at the board level.

- Mentor and manage a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of analytical rigor, transparency, and proactive problem-solving.

Required Skillset:

- Must be a qualified CA

- Demonstrated expertise in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), with a proven ability to synthesize large datasets into clear, strategic narratives for senior management.

- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and bridge the gap between financial constraints and operational requirements.

- Strong proficiency in building complex financial models and utilizing enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems to drive reporting accuracy.

- A professional qualification such as a Chartered Accountant (CA) or an MBA from a premier business school, reflecting a strong foundation in corporate finance and accounting principles.

- Proven adaptability to a fast-paced, on-site work environment in Mumbai, maintaining high standards of output while managing multiple competing priorities.

- A strategic mindset that balances short-term financial discipline with the long-term vision of the organization.
