Role Overview :

We are seeking a highly accomplished and strategic Divisional Manager (Finance & Accounts) to lead the financial operations of our innovative Aquaponics Farming division in Oman. This pivotal role involves overseeing all aspects of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, accounting, and reporting, ensuring robust financial health and sustainable growth. The successful candidate will work closely with senior leadership, operations teams, and external stakeholders, providing critical financial insights and guidance to optimize performance and drive strategic decision-making in a rapidly evolving agricultural sector. Your expertise will directly impact the division's profitability, operational efficiency, and long-term success, contributing significantly to our mission of sustainable food production.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop and execute comprehensive financial strategies, annual budgets, and long-term forecasts, aligning financial objectives with the overall business strategy for the Aquaponics division.

- Oversee the accurate and timely preparation of financial statements, management reports, and performance analyses, providing actionable insights to senior leadership for informed decision-making.

- Implement robust financial controls and processes to safeguard company assets, ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP), and mitigate financial risks.

- Manage working capital, optimize cash flow, and implement effective treasury functions to ensure liquidity and financial stability for ongoing operations and future expansion projects.

- Drive cost control initiatives, identify areas for efficiency improvement, and conduct thorough profitability analyses to enhance operational margins within the aquaponics farming operations.

- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance and accounting team, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and professional growth.

- Liaise effectively with external auditors, banks, legal counsel, and government authorities, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring smooth financial operations and compliance.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated expertise in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis, with a proven track record in a manufacturing, agriculture, or similar operational environment.

- Strong command of IFRS/GAAP accounting principles and financial reporting standards, coupled with experience in implementing robust internal controls.

- Exceptional leadership and team management capabilities, with a history of building and motivating high-performing finance teams.

- Superior analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills, capable of translating complex financial data into clear, actionable business insights.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, adept at presenting financial information to diverse stakeholders, including senior management and external partners.

- A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field from a premier institution. Professional certifications such as CA, CPA, ACCA, or CIMA are highly preferred, and an MBA from a top-tier business school will be a significant advantage.

- Proficiency with major ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) and advanced financial modeling tools.

- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced operational environment in Oman, requiring on-site presence and engagement with farming operations, with prior experience in the Middle East being a plus.
