About the Opportunity

A leading Consumer Durables/FMCD organization is expanding its Supply Chain Planning team and is looking to build a talent pipeline for current and upcoming Distribution Planning opportunities.

This role is suited for professionals with expertise in distribution planning, inventory deployment, replenishment planning, and logistics coordination. The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring optimal product availability across warehouses, depots, and distribution networks while balancing inventory, service levels, and transportation efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and execute distribution and replenishment plans across regional warehouses, depots, distributors, and fulfillment centers.

- Ensure timely product availability while maintaining optimal inventory levels across the distribution network.

- Collaborate with Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Manufacturing, Logistics, Sales, and Warehouse teams to align inventory movement with business requirements.

- Monitor inventory health, stock availability, excess inventory, and stock transfers across locations.

- Analyze distribution performance and recommend improvements to enhance service levels and reduce logistics costs.

- Coordinate inter-warehouse stock transfers and inventory balancing activities.

- Track key supply chain KPIs including fill rate, inventory turns, OTIF, stock availability, and inventory ageing.

- Support S&OP and Supply Review processes by providing distribution insights and inventory recommendations.

- Utilize ERP and planning tools to manage inventory deployment and replenishment activities.

- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize distribution efficiency and network performance.

Ideal Candidate

- 3-8 years of experience in Distribution Planning, Inventory Planning, Replenishment Planning, Supply Chain Planning, or Logistics Planning.

- Experience in Consumer Durables, FMCD, FMCG, Electricals, Consumer Electronics, Appliances, Manufacturing, or Retail industries.

- Strong understanding of inventory deployment, warehouse operations, replenishment strategies, and distribution networks.

- Hands-on experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or advanced planning tools will be preferred.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in Excel and reporting tools.

- Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional coordination abilities.
