Job Summary : In this role, you will be responsible for formulating Disney + Hotstar's Entertainment ad sales proposition on the back of external market intelligence and internal user growth and product/ content innovations. About the team : The Entertainment PRS team is responsible for developing the overall monetization strategy for Entertainment on D+H, which includes - supply forecasting, pricing and packaging, and overseeing the ads delivery. Additionally, the team also contributes towards developing an Annual Operating Plan and Long-Range Planning through analysis of market trends and internal data. Reporting To - Senior Ads Strategy Manager, Entertainment PRS YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES : - Manage the annual planning processes, (i.e., development of the business plan, operating model, resource allocation, market segmentation, vertical prioritization) - Track our progress against our Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and identify/implement strategies and tactics to align the business to goals - Need to develop expertise on audience behavior across programmatic and non-programmatic channels, content and other ad tech to identify trends and anomalies - Own industry trends and intelligence across channels - Work with the cross-functional Leadership team (i.e., across Sales, Product, Finance, and Marketing, Other Business Units) to drive alignment and execution on business goals within the AOP - Structure and execute strategic and operational initiatives by developing work plans, gathering and synthesizing relevant data, leading analyses, and developing final recommendations. - Collaborate effectively with internal teams across the business to drive projects on an ongoing and ad hoc basis SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES FOR SUCCESS : - Structured problem solver - Ability to develop solutions in an ambiguous environment - Should have worked in inter-team and intra-team collaborative roles - Excellent interpersonal skills - Strong analytical and organizational skills - Abreast of current and upcoming trends among brands and the industry PREFERRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE : - MBA with 4-5 years of strategy/ consulting / ads experience will be preferred. Looking for candidates from management consulting/corporate strategy, sales/ad sales or sales/ad sales strategy - Experience planning and managing at both strategic and operational levels - Experience with a complex, globally scaled product, sales and engineering environment - Experience and comfort with large data sets and strong data analytics skills - Knowledge of cloud technologies, products, and market landscape - Distinctive analytical skills and ability to present to executives and communicate with highly technical management team
