Description:
- Conduct primary and secondary research on consumer preferences, category trends, and competitive landscape.
- Develop market sizing models and forecast demand for key product categories.
- Analyze pricing elasticity and recommend optimal pricing strategies.
- Create customer segmentation and personas to inform marketing and merchandising decisions.
- Track emerging trends in e-commerce, payment solutions, and digital marketing.
- Prepare dashboards and reports for leadership with clear insights and recommendations.
- Collaborate with Product, Marketing, and Business teams to test hypotheses and validate strategies.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 4-5 years in market research, consumer insights, or analytics within e-commerce or retail.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, SQL; knowledge of Python/R is a plus.
- Experience with survey tools and data visualization platforms (Power BI/Tableau).
- Understanding of statistical methods: regression, segmentation, forecasting.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Bachelors degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, or related field; MBA preferred.
Nice-to-Have:
- Experience in Indian e-commerce market and familiarity with consumer behavior trends.
- Knowledge of pricing strategies, merchandising analytics, and funnel optimization.
- Exposure to digital marketing analytics and campaign measurement.
