Role Overview
The Director / Vice Chancellor will provide strategic, academic, and administrative leadership to the Institution.
This is a senior leadership role responsible for advancing the Institution's vision of academic excellence, research innovation, industry collaboration, and student success.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the academic and administrative functions of the School of Engineering, including program planning, curriculum development, faculty recruitment, and performance management.
- Foster a culture of high-quality teaching, impactful research, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
- Build strong industry and academic linkages to enhance experiential learning, placements, and funded research.
- Ensure continuous improvement in teaching methodologies, course content, and student outcomes aligned with accreditation standards (NBA/NAAC).
- Oversee budgeting, resource allocation, and infrastructure development for the School.
- Promote faculty development, mentorship, and capacity-building initiatives.
- Represent the School in academic councils, regulatory bodies, and external forums.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Academic Qualifications: Ph.D. in Engineering (preferably in Computer Science, Electronics, Mechanical, or related disciplines) from a reputed institution.
- Experience: Minimum 20 years of teaching/research/industry experience in a reputed academic institution, with at least 5 years in a leadership position.
- Proven record of academic leadership, research publications, and successful collaborations.
- Strong understanding of AICTE/UGC regulations and accreditation frameworks.
- Visionary leadership with excellent communication, team-building, and strategic planning skills
