Director of Telecom Management and Regulatory

We're looking for a highly experienced and strategic Director of Telecom Management and Regulatory to lead and optimize our global telecoms operations. You'll be responsible for the end-to-end management of our telecoms inventory and billing processes, ensuring cost efficiency across our client-facing, production network, office connectivity, and mobile estate. You'll also oversee all regulatory reporting and payments, ensuring strict compliance with global regulations.

What You'll Do:

- Lead Global Telecoms Operations: Oversee global billing and inventory, ensuring cost efficiency across all network and mobile services.

- Craft Core Processes: Develop robust processes for telecoms inventory, billing, and regulatory changes.

- Drive Strategic Planning: Lead strategic and operational initiatives to maximize ROI and achieve objectives.

- Ensure Regulatory Compliance: Manage all regulatory reporting and payments, ensuring adherence to global regulations.

- Manage and Develop a Global Team: Lead a team of 10 in India and London, focusing on performance, development, and coaching.

- Establish Operational Rhythm: Own the operating calendar, ensuring visibility of key events and commitments.

- Define and Report on Metrics: Develop and track key success metrics, reporting progress against targets.

- Drive Process Improvement: Identify and implement improvements, leading change initiatives and resolving issues.

- Support Senior Leadership: Provide critical support to executive leadership on telecoms commercial objectives.

- Foster Alignment: Ensure alignment on deliverables and remove barriers to execution across teams.

What You'll Bring:

- Relevant Professional Qualification: Strong educational background.

- Extensive Operations Experience: Significant prior experience in operations, ideally within global telecoms.

- Proven People Leadership: Extensive experience managing and leading diverse teams.

- Exceptional Stakeholder Management: Track record of managing complex relationships at all levels.

- Strategic & Analytical Acumen: Ability to translate complex data into actionable plans.

- Financial Prudence: Strong understanding of financial performance and ROI.

- Regulatory Understanding: Knowledge of telecoms regulatory frameworks is a plus.
