Role Overview:

We are looking for an accomplished Director of Technology and Player-Coach with 20+ years of experience to drive technology innovation and deliver transformative solutions for global Fortune 500 clients. The ideal candidate will combine strategic technology leadership with hands-on technical expertise, playing a key role in defining innovation strategies, architecting enterprise solutions, building Proofs of Concept (PoCs), and supporting client-facing presales engagements. This role is ideal for a technology leader who can architect in the morning and build in the afternoon.

Key Responsibilities:

- Define and drive technology innovation strategies aligned with business and client objectives.

- Lead the architecture and implementation of modern AI, cloud, data, and enterprise technology solutions.

- Design and build hands-on Proofs of Concept (PoCs) to demonstrate emerging technologies and business value.

- Lead initiatives involving Generative AI, LLMs, RAG, Agentic AI, and modern data platforms.

- Architect scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud-native solutions across AWS, Azure, and GCP.

- Provide technical leadership across Kubernetes, cloud infrastructure, DevOps, and distributed systems.

- Collaborate with engineering teams to translate architectural concepts into working prototypes and production-ready solutions.

- Support presales engagements, including solution presentations, technical proposals, architecture discussions, and client workshops.

- Engage directly with senior client stakeholders and technology leaders to understand business challenges and recommend innovative solutions.

- Lead enterprise architecture initiatives and establish technology standards, reference architectures, and best practices.

- Mentor and guide senior architects, engineers, and technical leaders.

- Evaluate emerging technologies and identify opportunities for their adoption across client engagements.

- Work closely with sales, consulting, product, and engineering teams to create differentiated technology solutions.

- Drive technical thought leadership through architecture frameworks, prototypes, accelerators, and reusable technology assets.

Must-Have Skills & Experience:

- 20+ years of overall technology experience.

- 5+ years of experience in Director/VP-level technology leadership roles.

- Strong experience in technology strategy, innovation, enterprise architecture, and technical leadership.

- Hands-on expertise in AI/GenAI, LLMs, and RAG.

- Strong understanding of modern data platforms, including Databricks.

- Strong cloud architecture experience across AWS, Azure, and/or GCP.

- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and cloud-native technologies.

- Strong programming experience in one or more of Python, Java, or Go.

- Strong understanding of Cloud and DevOps practices.

- Proven ability to design and develop hands-on PoCs and technical prototypes.

- Strong experience in presales, solution consulting, and client-facing technical engagements.

- Excellent communication, presentation, stakeholder management, and executive-level interaction skills.

Domain Experience:

Experience working with one or more of the following domains is preferred:

- Telecom

- Banking & Financial Services / Fintech

- Healthcare

- Experience delivering technology solutions for large enterprises or Fortune 500 clients will be highly valued.

Ideal Candidate:

The ideal candidate is a technology visionary and hands-on player-coach who can operate across strategy, architecture, engineering, and client engagement. They should be equally comfortable discussing technology strategy with a CXO, designing an enterprise architecture, presenting a solution to a Fortune 500 client, and building a working PoC with the engineering team. The candidate should bring a strong combination of AI/GenAI expertise, cloud architecture, modern data engineering, DevOps, enterprise architecture, innovation, and business-oriented technology leadership.
