Director - Technical Accounting

Experience: 10 - 15+ years

Qualification: CA / CPA / ACCA preferred

Role Overview:

Looking for senior professionals with strong Core Technical Accounting / Accounting Advisory experience to lead complex accounting matters, technical research and financial reporting advisory.

Key Responsibilities:

- Handle complex technical accounting matters under Ind AS / IFRS / US GAAP.

- Prepare and review technical accounting memos, position papers and accounting conclusions.

- Advise on complex transactions, accounting standards implementation and financial reporting matters.

- Support GAAP conversions, transaction accounting, business combinations, PPA and other special accounting matters.

- Review financial statements, disclosures and accounting policies.

- Monitor changes in accounting standards and assess their impact on business and financial reporting.

- Partner with senior management, auditors and business stakeholders on accounting conclusions.

- Lead and mentor teams and manage multiple accounting advisory engagements.

Ideal Profile:

- Strong hands-on experience in Core Technical Accounting / Accounting Advisory / FAAS.

- Big 4 / Accounting Advisory experience preferred.

- Industry profiles can also be considered if they have strong technical accounting expertise.

- Strong knowledge of Ind AS / IFRS / US GAAP.

- Excellent technical research, documentation and stakeholder management skills.

- Banking / NBFC profiles will not be considered.
