Indirect tax compliance - payment of tax, return filing, annual audits, statutory and tax audit 3. Indirect/Direct tax litigation management - Attend hearings, draft submissions/appeals, counsel briefing and advice management on best course of action 4. Business partnering - advise business on indirect tax matters 5. Drive system and process improvements 6. Tax accounting 7. Tax planning 8. Track updates and undertake impact analysis 1. Candidate handling indirect taxation in tax consulting firms / Big 4 / Industry 2. Sound knowledge of indirect tax legislations including GST, VAT and service tax laws 3. Knowledge of central excise, customs and FTP/EOU laws 4. Knowledge of ERP systems and prior working experience with ERP systems 5. Open to travel Chartered Accountant with 10+ years of experience in indirect tax profiles (industry experience would be preferred).
