Role: Director Talent Acquisition

Purpose of the role:

The Director of Global Talent Acquisition is a key leadership role responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy that supports the organization's workforce needs. This leadership role will manage a team of recruiters, manage the recruitment process across all regions, and work closely with senior leadership to ensure that the company attracts, hires, and retains top-tier talent.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership:


- Lead the India and global talent acquisition function to meet the organization's business objectives and workforce demands.


- Develop and execute a global recruiting strategy that aligns with the company's goals, values, and culture.


- Provide leadership, mentorship to the talent acquisition team.


- Partner with HR and business leaders to forecast workforce needs, address talent gaps, and implement staffing solutions.

Recruitment:


- Manage the delivery of recruitment services in line with business priorities and budgets.


- Develop effective relationships with the city heads and Regional partners to understand local challenges and deliver seamless service.



- Manage, guide, and coach the Recruitment team to deliver on the recruitment operating model, processes, and KPIs.


- Design, test, and implement processes and solutions. Identify continuous improvement opportunities with cost-effective solutions that deliver effective recruitment services.


- Manage Multiple Regions: emphasizing the importance of managing multiple regions, demonstrating cultural sensitivity, possessing a strong understanding of cultural differences, and adapting management style and communication approach accordingly.


- Monitor and improve on existing KPIs and SLAs.


- Negotiate agency vendor terms for hires in conjunction with the regional supply chain.


- Establish and monitor service levels; mitigate as required.


- Building efficiencies and automation in the process.

Talent Acquisition Metrics & Reporting:


- Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness and efficiency of the recruitment process.


- Report on India and global talent acquisition activities and success metrics to the executive team, providing insights for continuous improvement.

Process Optimization:


- Standardize and optimize the recruitment process to improve efficiency, reduce time-to-hire, and enhance the candidate experience.


- Leverage data and analytics to drive continuous improvement in recruitment practices.


- Implement technology solutions (ATS, CRM, AI-based tools) to streamline recruiting efforts and improve candidate tracking.

Budget and Resource Management:


- Manage the talent acquisition budget, ensuring optimal resource allocation across global teams.


- Evaluate and negotiate with external recruitment agencies and vendors as needed.

What we expect:

- Minimum a bachelors degree in the areas of human resources management or business administration or related field.

- Minimum of 15 years of experience in talent acquisition, with at least 5 years in a leadership role managing an India and global team.

- In-depth knowledge of recruiting technologies, applicant tracking systems (ATS), and candidate sourcing tools.

- Results and customer service orientation while working with a multicultural audience spread across different time zones.

- Desire to own projects and exceed expectations, with the ability to find solutions and deliver results.

- Strategic thinking, problem-solving, handling escalations, and decision-making abilities will be key to success in this role.

- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence senior leadership and manage a global team.

- Champion recruitment compliance and governance in line with our group requirements.

- Experience managing HRIS systems and implementing process improvements.

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data to drive decisions and process improvements.
