Role Overview:

As the Director Strategic Sourcing (IT Services), you will lead the development and execution of sourcing strategies for all IT services categories, ensuring optimal value, risk mitigation, and alignment with business objectives. Your day-to-day will involve collaborating with internal stakeholders, including IT leadership, finance, and legal, to understand their needs and translate them into effective sourcing plans.

You will also be responsible for managing key vendor relationships, negotiating contracts, and driving continuous improvement in sourcing processes. This role directly impacts the organization's bottom line by optimizing IT spend and ensuring access to innovative and cost-effective IT solutions, ultimately enabling the business to achieve its strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement comprehensive sourcing strategies for IT services, aligning with overall business objectives and ensuring cost-effectiveness for the organization.

- Lead the end-to-end sourcing process, including requirements gathering, RFP development, vendor evaluation, negotiation, and contract management, to secure the best possible terms and conditions.

- Manage and nurture strategic vendor relationships, fostering collaboration and driving continuous improvement in service delivery to maximize value for the company.

- Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, innovative solutions, and potential new vendors, ensuring the organization stays ahead of the curve in IT services procurement.

- Negotiate complex contracts with IT service providers, ensuring favorable terms, risk mitigation, and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, to protect the company's interests.

- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including IT leadership, finance, and legal, to understand their needs and provide strategic sourcing support, ensuring alignment and effective decision-making.

- Monitor and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to IT sourcing, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions to optimize performance and achieve cost savings.

- Mentor and develop a team of sourcing professionals, providing guidance, training, and support to enhance their skills and capabilities, building a high-performing sourcing organization.

- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic sourcing plans for IT services, resulting in significant cost savings and improved service delivery.

- Proven expertise in managing the entire sourcing lifecycle, from requirements gathering to contract negotiation and vendor management.
