Director - Strategic Investments & New Initiatives

Responsibilities:

- Evaluate, design strategy, design and implement business plan for inorganic growth strategies

- Identify new markets based on potential size and geography and develop Go-to-Market strategy & organization structure.

- Conducting comprehensive due-diligence of the investment note by validating all the assumptions made by the business units and identifying the risks, impact and mitigation measures. Oversee the creation of financial models, valuation analyses, and client presentations, ensuring accuracy and strategic alignment.

- Providing the a comprehensive view for each investment note - e.g. cash flow projections and sufficiency, organizational risk, off-taker credit profile, timeline risks etc.

- Financial modelling, evaluation, assumption validation and sensitivity analysis

- Prepare investment or advisory committee materials, with supervision. Maintaining updated trackers and records of opportunities evaluated and their status

- Meticulous record keeping and trackers including bidding trends, competitor behavior etc.

- Third party research and reading on key businesses, growth areas and their outlook

- Internal stakeholder management and engagement

- Familiarization with the underlying data and analytics tool, periodic upload and download of data

- Prepare routine portfolio monitoring reports and generate needed data from multiple resources

- Build and maintain strong Internal & External relationships, acting as a trusted advisor to senior executives and decision-makers.

Desired Profile: 10 - 15 years in Investments / Investment Banking
