About the Role:

We are hiring a Director - Solutions for a fast-growing, AI-driven enterprise logistics SaaS platform that helps large organizations optimize planning, routing, and execution across complex supply chain networks.

A critical part of this role is hands-on experience in logistics modelling, including routing, capacity planning, transportation optimization, network design, and multi-constraint planning.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Solutions Strategy & Enterprise Engagement

- Define the Solutions strategy across verticals and segments.

- Serve as a trusted advisor to CXOs, operations heads, IT leaders, and digital transformation teams

- Demonstrate ability to model real-world logistics challenges last-mile, FTL/LTL, store fulfillment, procurement flows, dynamic routing, resource pooling, and complex multi-day plans.

- Lead discovery sessions that uncover inefficiencies and opportunities for optimization.

2. Leadership of the Solutions Function

- Build, scale, and mentor a high-performing team of Solution Managers and Solution Engineers.

- Define competencies, hiring standards, training programs, and team operating rhythms.

- Create a culture centered around technical depth, modelling accuracy, demo excellence, and customer empathy.

3. Pre-Sales Excellence & Deal Conversion

- Oversee all large, complex opportunities requiring deep logistics modelling expertise.

- Review and refine solution architectures, planning logic, modelling assumptions, and integration flows.

- Ensure demos and POCs reflect true operational realities and deliver quantifiable business value

- Strengthen win rates by elevating the quality and credibility of solution engagements.

4. Thought Leadership & Product Influence

- Share modelling insights and market needs with Product Management to shape the roadmap.

- Partner with Product Marketing on competitive differentiation, value messaging, and vertical solutioning.

- Act as an internal and external SME for logistics modelling, routing, optimization, and network design.

5. Cross-Functional Execution & Value Realization

- Build strong handover frameworks for Implementation and Customer Success.

- Ensure solution documentation and modelling assumptions are clear for execution teams

- Participate in early deployment governance to protect customer outcomes promised during sales cycles.

Qualification Required:

1. Minimum 10 years of experience in solutions consulting, supply chain transformation, or logistics-focused enterprise SaaS.

2. Hands-on background in logistics modelling including routing optimization, network design, fleet and capacity planning, and multi-leg or scenario-based planning.

3. Proven track record of leading solutions / pre-sales teams in high-growth SaaS environments.

4. Strong understanding of routing engines, heuristics, LP/MIP optimization, planning workflows, simulation, and modelling techniques

5. Solid grasp of enterprise IT architectures, integrations, and data governance.

6. Ability to translate complex modelling and analytics into clear, executive-level business narratives.

7. Strong executive presence, with excellent presentation, storytelling, and stakeholder influence skills.

8. Experience building scalable solution assets, methodologies, and best practices
