Minimum 15 years of post-qualification experience. - Leadership responsibility to oversee Software Engineering functions covering a wide range of technical roles across product development, solution design, Project Management, and product owner in order to build, manage mid to large sized teams and overseeing the delivery of complex software applications and solutions. - Build stronger technical capability to serve strategic needs (Global Growth Centers and Emerging Market entities need based) and deliver new products/solutions. This will require collaborating and leading multinational, cross-functional, geographically distributed teams. - Directs, reviews and approves product designs and changes. - Mentor and develop engineering talent to ensure the future success of the engineering team and supports talent development efforts - Strong interpersonal, teamwork and problem-solving skills in order to effectively work with customers, business partners, staff and management from a variety of skill levels as well as different authority levels. - Maintain constant view of technological marketplace and opportunities for existing or new products to support business growth. - Ability to understand technical issues and understand impact on projects, and effectively communicate these issues and impact to direct reports as well as other project stakeholders. - Develops and implement policies, standards and procedures relative to the engineering function as well as supporting company wide policies and procedures
