Job Description - Director of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE)

Experience: 18+ Years

Leadership Experience: 5+ Years in Director-Level or Senior Leadership Roles

Notice Period: Immediate to 30 Days

Location: Hyderabad, Telangana, India

Work Mode: Hybrid (Work from Office for 5 consecutive days every alternate week)

Mandatory Requirements:

- Candidates must have experience working with Product-Based SaaS Companies.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

- 18+ years of experience in Software Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or Reliability Engineering.

- Minimum 5+ years of experience in leadership roles, preferably at Director level.

- Strong expertise in applying software engineering principles to solve reliability and operational challenges.

- Expertise in SLI/SLO, monitoring, and reliability engineering.

- Strong experience with CI/CD, observability, and incident response.

- Strong AWS knowledge and hands-on experience with container orchestration.

- Proven ability to lead reliability programs across multiple SaaS products.

- Experience architecting applications and infrastructure for high-growth cloud platforms.

- Experience working in B2B SaaS environments with large-scale distributed systems.

- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

- Demonstrated ability to drive operational excellence through metrics, KPIs, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Interview Process:

- 1. Profile Review: Candidate profiles will be shared with the Business Leader for review.

- 2. Level I - Initial Screening: Interview with the VP, SRE, or Senior Director, TechOps.

- 3. Level II - Technical Round I: Interview with the alternate panel member from Level I.

- 4. Level III - Technical Round II: Interview with the Senior VP, TechOps.

- 5. Level IV - Aptitude Assessment: Shortlisted candidates will complete the UCAT aptitude test.

- 6. Level V - HR Discussion: Final discussion with the Senior Director, HR.

Working Model:

Hybrid Work Model: Employees are required to work from the office for 5 consecutive days every alternate week. The remaining weeks will follow the applicable remote-working arrangement.
