Director/Senior Vice President - Data Engineering & AWS - Asset Management Division

Role Overview:

As Director / SVP - Data Engineering and AWS - Asset Management, you will spearhead the design, development, and implementation of cutting-edge data solutions within our Asset Management division. You will collaborate closely with portfolio managers, quantitative analysts, and technology teams to build and maintain a robust, scalable, and secure data infrastructure on AWS. Your leadership will be instrumental in driving data-driven investment decisions, enhancing operational efficiency, and ensuring regulatory compliance. This role has a direct impact on improving investment performance and delivering superior value to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the strategic direction and execution of data engineering initiatives, aligning them with the overall business objectives of the Asset Management division.

- Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of data pipelines, data warehouses, and data lakes on AWS, ensuring data quality, integrity, and accessibility for various stakeholders.

- Manage a team of data engineers, providing mentorship, guidance, and performance feedback to foster a high-performance culture.

- Collaborate with IT Operations to ensure the reliability, security, and scalability of the data infrastructure, adhering to industry best practices and regulatory requirements.

- Partner with business stakeholders to understand their data needs and translate them into technical solutions, delivering actionable insights and improved decision-making capabilities.

- Drive the adoption of new technologies and methodologies in data engineering, staying abreast of industry trends and innovations to maintain a competitive edge.

- Ensure compliance with data governance policies and procedures, safeguarding sensitive information and maintaining data privacy.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated ability to design and implement large-scale data warehousing and data lake solutions on AWS, leveraging services such as S3, Redshift, Glue, and Lambda.

- Experience in leading team in designing and implementation of Data platform and technology is Trade life cycle

- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team of data engineers and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex data-related issues.

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in any field
