Director/Senior Manager - Macroeconomic Consulting

Position: Senior Manager/Director - Macroeconomics Consulting

Location: Delhi

Experience: 10-13 years

Key Responsibilities

- Lead macroeconomic advisory engagements for government bodies, multilateral institutions, regulators, and large corporates across sectors.

- Design and deliver economic impact assessments, fiscal policy analysis, sectoral diagnostics, growth strategy frameworks, and investment climate studies.

- Build and oversee advanced economic models - including CGE, DSGE, econometric, input-output, and forecasting models - to support evidence-based decision-making.

- Provide strategic counsel to C-suite executives and senior government officials on policy reforms, market entry, regulatory shifts, and macroeconomic risks.

- Drive business development - originate new engagements, develop proposals, and nurture long-term client relationships.

- Manage and mentor high-performing teams of economists and analysts; foster thought leadership through publications, white papers, and industry forums.

- Collaborate cross-functionally with Tax, Deals, Risk, and Digital teams to deliver integrated, multi-disciplinary solutions.

- Hands-on proficiency in macroeconomic and econometric modelling (CGE, DSGE, I-O models, time-series analysis) using tools such as STATA, EViews, GAMS, R, or Python

- Demonstrated work across multiple domains - e.g., infrastructure, energy, financial services, urban development, trade, fiscal policy
