Director/Senior Director Engineering - Women Engineering Leaders Preferred (15-20 yrs)

The Opportunity:

This is a strategic leadership role responsible for leading engineering teams, driving technical excellence, and delivering highly scalable, secure, and resilient technology platforms.

You will partner with Product, Architecture, Design, Security, and Business leaders to build world-class digital banking experiences used by millions of customers.

Key Responsibilities:

Engineering Leadership:

- Lead and mentor multiple engineering teams across Backend, Platform, and Full Stack development.

- Build a culture of innovation, collaboration, accountability, and engineering excellence.

- Hire, coach, and develop Engineering Managers, Tech Leads, and Senior Engineers.

Technology & Architecture:

- Drive architecture and technical strategy for scalable, secure, cloud-native applications.

- Lead engineering decisions across Java, Microservices, Distributed Systems, APIs, and Cloud technologies.

- Ensure engineering solutions meet the highest standards of reliability, scalability, security, and performance.

Product Delivery:

- Partner closely with Product and Business teams to deliver customer-centric digital banking products.

- Own engineering execution, delivery planning, quality, and operational excellence.

- Drive Agile best practices and continuous delivery.

Engineering Excellence:

- Champion code quality, system design, automation, observability, CI/CD, and engineering productivity.

- Promote modern software engineering practices and continuous learning.

- Drive platform stability, resilience, and performance improvements.

People Leadership:

- Inspire, mentor, and grow high-performing engineering teams.

- Foster an inclusive, collaborative environment where diverse perspectives thrive.

- Build leadership capability and succession within the engineering organization.
