Key Responsibilities:



1. Sales Strategy Development:


- Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve revenue targets and
market share growth in the freight forwarding sector.


- Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to identify new
business opportunities.


2. Team Leadership:


- Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team to ensure high performance and achievement of

3. Client Relationship Management:


- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring exceptional service
delivery and customer satisfaction.


- Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling services to existing clients.


4. Performance Tracking:


- Monitor sales performance metrics and prepare regular reports for senior management.


- Use data analytics to assess sales effectiveness and make informed decisions.


5. Collaboration with Other Departments:


- Work closely with operations, marketing, and finance teams to align sales strategies with

- Participate in product development discussions to ensure offerings meet market demands.


6. Budget Management:


- Develop and manage the sales budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources for
maximum ROI.


7. Industry Engagement:

as a leader in the freight forwarding market.


- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.


Qualifications:


- Bachelors degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field; MBA preferred.


- 10+ years of sales experience in the freight forwarding or logistics industry, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role.


- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.


- Strong knowledge of freight forwarding operations, regulations, and market dynamics.


- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.


- Ability to analyze data and market trends to inform strategic decisions.


- Proficient in CRM software and sales analytics tools.
