Director - Sales - Animal Nutrition Business

- Responsible for providing the overall Sales strategy for the domestic business
- Responsible for the development of sales and the implementation of business plans through the selection and development of a field sales team for pan India region
- Responsible for developing programs for disruptive growth in top-tier/niche segments
- Intensive Involvement in Strategic Planning for Competitive Landscaping, Market Development,
- Annual Business Plan and Roadmap creation and New Product Launches
- To gather market intelligence and inform Corporate Office of the developments in the market
- Perform a comprehensive and sophisticated analysis of the region and develop and implement a regional sales strategy to achieve established financial goals
- Work closely with the leadership to increase shareholder value
- Make budget, decide Zone-wise/customer-wise pricing, provide required support and implement business development plans to achieve budgeted desired top line and EBIDTA
- Achieve growth and new development target.
- Ensure consistent business with top Key accounts without complaints by regular communication, visits and provide them required inputs & ensure significant contribution of business from customers.
- Coordinate with manufacturing, supply chain, QA/QC and finance for ensuring smooth execution of agreed business plan.
- Succession planning for key roles in the team.
- Accountable for the BUs Sales activities within India and achieve and exceed sales and financial targets.
- Should have experience of developing distribution network.
Educational Qualifications & Experience:
- MBA from a reputed institute with a science academic background
- 15+ years of experience in selling products and handling direct sales.
- The person should have excellent communication skills and a pleasing personality
