Key Responsibilities
1. Sales Leadership
- Lead national sales strategy, annual planning, and execution to deliver aggressive revenue and margin targets.
- Build and manage a high-performing sales organization across regions and verticals.
- Drive channel and distributor performance; expand partner network where needed.
- Strengthen key account management and develop long-term customer relationships.
2. Service & Customer Support Excellence
- Lead the service organization to ensure timely installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and AMC growth.
- Build strong service KPIs: uptime, TAT, MTTR, customer satisfaction, and NPS.
- Ensure service teams are trained on new products, safety guidelines, and quality standards.
3. Strategic & Cross-Functional Leadership
- Partner with Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, and Product Management to deliver integrated commercial plans.
- Provide market intelligence and customer insights to support product strategy.
- Support digital initiatives in CRM, service management, and sales productivity.
4. People Leadership
- Coach, mentor, and develop sales & service managers across India.
- Build a culture of accountability, customer-centricity, and continuous improvement.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- 15+ years of experience in Sales/Service leadership roles, preferably in industrial equipment, scientific instruments, lab equipment, automation, or related technology sectors.
- Strong P&L orientation with proven record of scaling businesses.
- Experience managing dispersed teams and dealer networks.
- Ability to drive strategy, execution, and change management.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
