Director - Sales & Service
Are you a proven commercial leader with deep experience in Sales + Service within diagnostic equipment, industrial instruments, lab equipment, or automation?
Here's a chance to lead the full commercial engine for a fast-growing global technology organisation - covering Sales, Service, Key Accounts, and Channel Networks across India.
What You Will Do
1. Lead Sales Growth:
- Create and implement the national sales strategy.
- Make yearly sales plans and ensure targets are met.
- Build and guide a strong sales team across India.
- Work closely with distributors and partners to grow the business.
- Manage key customers and build long-term relationships.
2. Lead Service & Customer Support
- Oversee service activities like installation, maintenance, repairs, and AMC renewals.
- Improve service performance metrics like uptime, turnaround time, MTTR, and NPS.
- Ensure service teams are trained on products and safety.
3. Drive Cross-Functional Strategy
- Work with marketing, finance, supply chain, and product teams.
- Share customer insights to help improve products.
- Support digital tools like CRM, sales automation, and service platforms.
4. Lead & Develop Teams
- Mentor sales and service leaders across India.
- Build a culture focused on accountability, customer-first mindset, and continuous improvement.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- 14-18 years of experience in Sales/Service leadership roles.
- Strong background in diagnostic equipment, laboratory instruments, industrial equipment, automation, or similar tech domains.
- Proven track record in business scaling, dealer/distributor management & P&L ownership.
- Excellent communication, negotiation & strategic execution skills.
