Director - Risk Management Services
- We are seeking an accomplished and results-oriented Director- Risk Management Services to lead a small, high-performing team of risk management professionals.
- This critical role will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of specialized risk advisory services, to clients within the financial and other sectors, helping them navigate complex market dynamics and mitigate risks to their businesses and investments.
- The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in risk management advisory, a proven track record of client success, and a passion for leading and developing talent.
Qualifications:
- Relevant professional certifications (e.g., FRM, CFA, PRM) are highly desirable.
- Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related quantitative field from a top-tier institution
- Minimum of 15+ years of post-qualification experience in risk management advisory services, with a significant portion of this experience gained within a reputable advisory firm.
- Demonstrated expertise in risk mitigation strategies for financial sector clients, including but not limited to investment risk, market risk, credit risk, operational risk, and regulatory risk.
- Proven experience leading and managing small to medium-sized teams of risk management professionals.
- Strong understanding and experience utilizing proprietary tools and analytical frameworks for risk assessment and management.
- Exceptional client relationship management skills with a track record of building and maintaining long-term partnerships with senior stakeholders.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities.
- Superior communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Team Management:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a small team of risk management professionals, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous learning.
- Set clear performance objectives, conduct regular performance reviews, and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Oversee resource allocation and project assignments to ensure efficient delivery of services.
Client Engagement & Service Delivery:
- Act as a primary point of contact and trusted advisor for key financial sector clients, understanding their unique risk profiles and investment objectives.
- Oversee the end-to-end delivery of risk management advisory services, ensuring high quality, timely, and impactful solutions.
- Leverage proprietary tools and deep domain knowledge to analyze client investment portfolios, identify potential risks, and develop tailored mitigation strategies.
- Present complex risk assessments and recommendations to senior client stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
- Identify opportunities for expanding existing client relationships and contributing to business development efforts.
Strategic Contribution:
- Contribute to the strategic direction of the risk management services practice, identifying emerging trends and opportunities within the financial sector.
- Enhance and refine existing methodologies and proprietary tools to ensure they remain at the forefront of risk management best practices.
- Collaborate with other internal teams to leverage expertise and drive integrated solutions for clients.
Thought Leadership & Market Awareness:
- Stay abreast of industry regulations, market trends, and emerging risks within the financial sector.
- Represent the firm at industry conferences, seminars, and thought leadership events.
- Contribute to internal knowledge sharing and development of best practices
