Position Summary:
- This position is expected to perform effective management of offshore technical resources, full stack developers, mainframe developers, Release Train Engineers, Scrum Master, Test Automation Engineers, etc.
- Someone with minimal directions should be able to liaison with business, various technology partners and vendor partners to deliver high impact products and services.
- We are looking for someone with strong experience in resource management of technical teams specialized in Systems integrations, Application development & maintenance in Cloud, on-prem distributed, and mainframe environments.
- Someone who embraces the Agile delivery model and drives strategic business and technology initiatives.
Job Responsibilities:
- Establish relationship with business and technology leaders and analyze business problem statements to understand, anticipate and determine the resource needs.
- Hiring, allocating, and managing technical resources to meet delivery requirements.
- Instil delivery excellency mindset, lead Agile way of working, develop and utilize key performance metrics to drive elevated efficiency and efficacy from the team.
- Contribute to budget estimations & manage financials related to resource allocation.
- Perform effective people management, focusing on fit-for-purpose talent development, resource retention and optimization.
- Contribute to budget estimations & manage financials related to resource allocation.
- Contribute to Vendor management, Employee experience and Service integrations.
- Drive culture of research & experimentation and contribute to adoption of emerging technologies.
- Should be able to attract, grow and retain engineering talent. Actively demonstrates and promotes culture of working in a matrix organization focused on exceptional customer service through technology differentiation.
Job Requirements:
Education: Engineering degree and preferably advance degree in Technology domain.
Experience:
- 15+ years of overall work experience with strong resource management exposure.
- Should have 5+ years' experience in managing 100+ technical resources in Agile delivery model.
- Should have demonstrated experience in large scale delivery in global setting.
