- The Client's Assurance business leverages their professional accounting, controls and corporate reporting expertise to deliver assurance and related advisory services on both financial and non-financial information.
- Their Assurance and related advisory services are focused on engagements related to Accounting & Reporting, Controls, and Sustainability & Emerging Assurance (including AI Assurance).
- Bringing together the diverse skills and industry experience of people across global network, with their leading-edge technology, to deliver high-quality assurance reports and valuable advice and insights across the corporate reporting landscape.
The Role will include the below Job Responsibilities-
- Track all significant changes and amendments in laws and for important regulators in India and International jurisdictions for updating compliance repositories.
- Carry out regulatory research and identify applicable regulations and compliance requirements thereunder to advise clients on their compliance obligations. Development of manuals detailing out compliance obligations for client's business operations.
- Demonstrate good understanding of automated compliance management tools and support in updating client's compliance repositories.
- Sell new and "add-on" business to clients.
- Identify opportunities to cross-sell other services, meet assigned sales target/team sales targets, Develop proposals.
- High visibility in functional or industry specialty, Publication in designated areas, public speaking.
- Responsible for oversight or advisee training and development program. Responsible for end-to-end people development and management
- Play substantive/lead role in retention of professionals and in building staff complement, mix, and recruiting.
- Responsible for overall delivery in one large client/one industry segment/multiple projects
- Mentor and coach around 15-20 professionals. Demonstrate good legal analysis skill and be able to interpret the provisions of the law from a pragmatic compliance obligation point of view.
Key skills required:
- 15+ years of relevant experience in Regulatory Compliance
- Deep Expertise in Compliance risks assessment and management. Strong presentation and negotiation skills
- Functional skills in ERP (SAP/Oracle/PeopleSoft/). Broad based industry awareness
- Ability to develop and build a client base. Deep understanding of any one industry
- Extensive experience with industry standards and frameworks
