Are you a strategic, growth-oriented leader passionate about transforming US Healthcare RCM operations? NOS is expanding and looking for a dynamic Director of Operations - RCM to drive operational excellence, client success, and organizational growth.
Role Overview:
The Director of Operations - RCM will serve as a visionary leader responsible for the overall strategy, performance, and profitability (P&L) of the RCM division. This role requires a strong blend of strategic insight, operational expertise, and leadership capability to scale processes, maximize revenue outcomes, and elevate client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and execute the strategic roadmap for the RCM division aligned with the organization's long-term goals.
- Lead initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, service delivery, and client outcomes.
- Identify growth opportunities and implement best practices across all service lines.
2. P&L & Financial Management
- Own the division's P&L and ensure revenue and profitability targets are met.
- Manage budgets, forecast financial performance, and drive cost optimization.
- Improve financial metrics by reducing denials, increasing clean claim rates, and accelerating collections.
3. Operational Excellence:
- Oversee end-to-end RCM operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and high productivity.
- Implement automation, analytics, and process improvement strategies for scalability.
- Monitor KPIs, SLAs, and quality benchmarks to ensure peak performance.
4. Leadership & Team Development
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a large team of managers, supervisors, and RCM specialists.
- Build a high-performance culture focused on accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Drive workforce planning, training, and career development initiatives.
5. Client Partnership & Stakeholder Management
- Serve as the primary operational partner for key clients, ensuring exceptional service delivery.
- Build strong client relationships and proactively address operational challenges.
- Participate in business reviews and contribute to client retention and growth.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience (10+ years) in US Healthcare RCM operations, with at least Y years in a senior leadership role.
- Strong understanding of RCM processes including coding, billing, AR, denials, payments, and compliance.
- Demonstrated experience managing P&L and scaling large operational teams.
- Excellent communication, decision-making, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with automation, RPA, analytics, and process transformation preferred.
