Job Title & Location:- Director Quality Based at Coimbatore (Tamil Nadu)
Job overview:
- An ideal candidate will be a Quality functional leader with 12+ years of experience in managing Quality as a function in the retail food space.
- An incumbent shall understand the importance of Quality parameters at each stage of value chain. Strong foundational knowledge of Quality standards and apex bodies is a must have for this position.
- This role will require an incumbent to work directly with farmers; hence an incumbent shall be very hands on. Strong communication skills and stakeholder management experience is important to be successful in this role.
Education Qualification: Graduate / Postgraduate in Chemistry / Microbiology, B Tech Food Technology
Personal Qualities & Traits: Excellent communication skills (Oral and verbal). Good leadership quality. A person with great attention to detail and social acceptance.
Work Experience:
- 12+ Years of Exp (Should have worked a minimum of 8 to 10 years in Quality Assurance and Food Safety in any Spice/Food processing industry in a Senior Managerial cadre).
- Experience in testing spices, herbs, and seasonings in a HACCP / BRC-certified food industry.
- Should have a thorough knowledge of Food safety, HACCP, and Quality Management systems and oversight of all regulatory bodies.
Key Result Areas:
- Zero customer complaints of a critical nature.
- Maintain a high testing accuracy with speed at all stages of inspection. Improve the Food Safety Management System at JIN.
- To qualify and sustain BRC Grade A + (announced and unannounced)
- Sustain NABL accreditation and include more matrix and testing.
- Ensure a high level of acceptance by our customers. Increase customer satisfaction through product knowledge, complaint investigation, and first-time-right quality approach.
- Specification management & and tracking.
- Supervise Supply Chain QA/QC and coordinate with the Direct Farmer Sourcing team.
