Director / Program Lead - Digital Science & Management
Role Overview:
As the Director / Program Lead for Digital Science & Management, you will be at the forefront of shaping the future of professional education in the digital realm. This pivotal role involves strategically defining, developing, and executing cutting-edge programs that address the evolving demands of digital transformation across industries. Key Responsibilities:
- Define and execute strategic roadmaps for digital science and management programs, ensuring alignment with industry trends and future workforce needs for students and corporate clients.
- Lead the end-to-end design and development of innovative, industry-relevant curricula, integrating concepts from digital transformation, product management, and IT consulting to deliver high-impact learning experiences.
- Oversee the implementation and continuous improvement of learning methodologies and platforms, fostering an engaging and effective environment for participants to acquire critical digital skills.
- Establish and nurture partnerships with leading IT consulting firms and industry experts, integrating real-world case studies and best practices into program offerings to enhance practical applicability.
- Apply product management principles to program development, treating educational offerings as products that require market analysis, feature definition, launch, and iterative improvement to meet learner demands and market opportunities.
- Mentor and guide program teams and faculty, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous innovation in digital education.
- Drive market research and competitive analysis to identify new program opportunities and ensure our offerings remain at the forefront of digital learning.
- Manage program budgets, resources, and operational timelines to ensure efficient delivery and achievement of strategic objectives.
Required Skillset:
- A minimum of 10 to 18 years of progressive experience in roles spanning digital transformation, curriculum development, learning & development, IT consulting, or product management, with a significant portion in leadership capacities.
- Proven expertise in driving digital transformation initiatives and understanding their impact on business and education.
- Exceptional ability in curriculum development and instructional design, particularly for advanced professional programs.
- Strong background in learning and development strategies, including adult learning principles and technology-enhanced learning.
- Demonstrated experience in IT consulting, either directly or through managing programs that serve the IT consulting sector.
- Proficiency in product management methodologies, including market research, roadmap planning, and lifecycle management for educational products.
- Outstanding leadership and team-building capabilities, with a track record of inspiring and managing diverse teams.
- Superior communication, presentation, and negotiation skills to engage with senior stakeholders, industry partners, and program participants.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving acumen to navigate complex challenges and identify innovative solutions.
- Master's degree or higher in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Information Technology, Digital Management, or a related discipline from a premier institution.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced academic and industry-facing environment in Chandigarh, collaborating effectively with both on-site and remote teams.
