Job Title: Principal / Director / Vice President - Investment Banking

Location: Mumbai | Delhi | Bangalore

Company Overview:

We are partnering with a high-performing investment banking platform that specializes in early-stage to pre-IPO transactions, spanning Series A to Series D fundraises. The firm operates with a strong focus on high-growth sectors and offers deep exposure to deal origination, structuring, and execution across diverse industries.

Role Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned Investment Banking professional to join as a Principal / Director / VP, leading end-to-end deal processes - from sourcing and client management to execution and closure. The ideal candidate will have a proven record of managing multiple high-value transactions and relationships with investors including venture capital firms, private equity funds, and family offices.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and execute fundraising mandates from early-stage through late-stage / pre-IPO transactions (Series A to Series D and beyond).

- Manage the complete deal lifecycle - from origination, pitch, financial modeling, valuation, and due diligence to negotiations and closure.

- Build and maintain a strong network of VCs, PEs, and Family Offices, leveraging existing relationships to source mandates and investment opportunities.

- Provide strategic guidance to clients on capital structuring, investor positioning, and transaction strategy.

- Supervise and mentor a team of analysts and associates to ensure high-quality deliverables and execution efficiency.

- Work closely with internal leadership to drive business growth, expand sectoral focus, and strengthen investor relationships.

- Required Experience & Qualifications:

- 8-15 years of experience in Investment Banking, Corporate Finance, or PE advisory, preferably with exposure to early-stage and growth-stage transactions.

- Successfully led and closed at least 5-10 deals across Series A to pre-IPO categories.

- Strong financial modeling, valuation, and transaction management skills with an ability to operate with minimal supervision.

- Demonstrated ability to independently manage client relationships and investor interactions.

- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

- MBA / CA / CFA or equivalent qualification preferred.

Desirable Attributes:

- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to take ownership and deliver under dynamic conditions.

- Prior experience in deal sourcing and mandate generation will be an advantage.
