About the Role:

- We are seeking a strategic and results-oriented Director - Pricing Commercial Strategy to lead our pricing initiatives and drive commercial success.

- In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing innovative pricing strategies, analyzing market trends, and optimizing pricing models to maximize revenue and profitability.

- You will lead a team of pricing professionals and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with overall business objectives.

- Develop and implement comprehensive pricing strategies that align with business goals and market conditions.

- Conduct thorough market analysis, competitive benchmarking, and customer segmentation to inform pricing decisions.

- Design and optimize pricing models, including value-based pricing, cost-plus pricing, and dynamic pricing.

- Develop and manage pricing policies, guidelines, and procedures.

- Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor pricing, and customer behavior to identify opportunities and risks.

- Conduct pricing research and analysis to assess the impact of pricing changes on revenue and profitability.

- Develop and maintain competitive intelligence reports.

- Utilize data analytics and pricing tools to optimize pricing strategies and improve profitability.

- Develop and maintain pricing dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs).

- Conduct pricing experiments and A/B testing to evaluate the effectiveness of pricing strategies.

- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of pricing professionals.

- Set clear performance expectations, provide regular feedback, and conduct performance reviews.

- Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment.

- Collaborate with sales, marketing, product, and finance teams to ensure alignment on pricing strategies.

- Provide pricing guidance and support to sales teams during customer negotiations.

- Communicate pricing strategies and updates to internal and external stakeholders.

- Ensure compliance with pricing policies, regulations, and ethical standards.

- Develop and maintain pricing documentation and audit trails.

- Implement and monitor pricing controls to mitigate risks.

- Evaluate and recommend pricing software and tools to enhance pricing capabilities.

- Implement and manage pricing systems and databases.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest pricing technologies and best practices.

Qualifications:

Essential:

- 8+ years of experience in pricing strategy, commercial strategy, or a related field.

- Proven experience in developing and implementing successful pricing strategies.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Expertise in market analysis, competitive benchmarking, and customer segmentation.

- Proficiency in data analytics and pricing tools.

- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

- Strong leadership and team management abilities.

- Bachelor's /master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field
