Job Description:
- Leading national and state-level public policy advocacy strategy aligned with the organizations mission.
- Driving outcome-focused advocacy roadmaps with clear goals, timelines, and accountability.
- Translating research insights into policy recommendations, reform agendas, and legislative inputs.
- Managing end-to-end execution of advocacy initiatives and policy engagements.
- Building strong relationships with government stakeholders, Parliamentarians, and key institutions.
- Positioning the organization as a trusted policy and technical partner.
- Leading and mentoring the policy and advocacy team; representing the organization with media and stakeholders.
Job Requirements:
- Postgraduate qualification in public policy or related discipline.
- Minimum 15+ years of progressive experience in policy advocacy, government relations, or public policy strategy.
- Strong understanding of Indias Parliamentary system, legislative processes, and state governance structures.
- Proven experience engaging with Parliamentarians and senior government officials.
- Strong project management, research, and policy writing skills.
- Ability to operate with discretion, credibility, and political sensitivity.
- Experience working with NGOs, development organizations, or social enterprises preferred.
