Director - Plant Head - Medical Devices

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the end-to-end establishment and scale-up of a Greenfield manufacturing facility, driving strategic execution from site setup through operational excellence.

- Provide leadership for high-volume, highly regulated manufacturing operations, ensuring world-class standards in quality, safety, compliance, productivity, and cost optimisation.

- Build and lead high-performing cross-functional teams across Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Maintenance, EHS, and Continuous Improvement, while fostering a culture of accountability and innovation.

- Partner closely with global leadership and senior management to drive business strategy, capacity expansion, operational readiness, and stakeholder management within a matrix organisation.

- Drive operational excellence through Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement, digital transformation, and best-in-class manufacturing practices.

- Ensure compliance with global quality and regulatory standards, including FDA, ISO 13485, GMP, or equivalent.

Preferred Background:

- 18-25+ years of manufacturing leadership experience, including significant Greenfield plant setup experience.

- Strong preference for candidates from the Medical Devices industry; exceptional leaders from other highly regulated industries such as Pharmaceuticals, Life Sciences, or Healthcare will also be considered.

- Experience working with a Global MNC in a complex matrix organisation, collaborating with global leadership teams.

- Proven expertise in Lean Manufacturing, Operational Excellence, capacity expansion, and large-scale manufacturing operations.

- Hands-on experience with global quality and regulatory standards such as FDA, ISO 13485, GMP, and world-class manufacturing systems.

- Demonstrated success in leading large cross-functional teams and delivering business transformation in regulated manufacturing environments.
