Director - Performance Marketing & Acquisition
Description:
We are looking for a high-agency, data-obsessed acquisition leader to take end-to-end ownership of our lead generation and conversion engine. As the Director Performance Marketing & Acquisition, you will lead the integrated growth stack across paid marketing, organic funnels, offline initiatives, and partnerships.
You will manage cross-functional teams, set north-star metrics, and drive experimentation to scale top-of-funnel growth and improve lead quality across multiple business units, including training-led initiatives and strategic growth projects.
This role demands a strong blend of analytical rigor, campaign creativity, team leadership, and full-funnel thinking.
Key Responsibilities
1. Performance Marketing Strategy & Execution
- Own and scale all paid acquisition channels: Meta, Google, YouTube, LinkedIn, programmatic
- Lead monthly campaign planning, A/B testing, cohort-based experimentation & channel expansion
- Build scalable acquisition playbooks across digital and regional markets
2. Full-Funnel Growth Ownership
- Track & optimize the complete marketing-to-conversion funnel
- Define ICPs, improve lead scoring models, and enhance handover efficiency between marketing & sales
- Improve funnel velocity and conversion at each stage
3. Partnerships & Offline Channel Expansion
- Lead the national referral partner and affiliate ecosystem
- Identify and nurture new acquisition flywheels through training partners, influencers, and referral networks
- Align messaging, incentives, and attribution processes with internal teams
4. Creative + Analytics Balance
- Oversee creation of high-performing ads, videos, landing pages & communication assets
- Build dashboards, reporting rhythms, and data-driven decision frameworks
- Collaborate closely with design, content, and product teams
5. Team Management & Collaboration
- Lead a multi-layered team across performance marketing, growth operations, and partnerships
- Coach team leads, track KPIs, and drive accountability
- Work cross-functionally with Marketing, Sales, Product, and Strategic Initiatives teams
6. Budgeting, Forecasting & Cost Control
- Own the performance marketing budget
- Drive cost efficiency across CPL, CAC, ROAS while scaling lead volumes
- Forecast monthly lead targets and acquisition needs based on funnel health
7. Strategic Projects & Brand-led Experiments
- Partner with Strategic Initiatives on high-impact campaigns such as:
- Category-building campaigns
- Podcast-led growth
- Creator & influencer-driven funnels
- Regional & vernacular-focused initiatives
- Bring a performance and scale-first approach to early-stage bets
Ideal Candidate Profile
Must-Have Qualifications
- 710 years of experience in Growth, Performance Marketing, or Acquisition leadership roles
- Strong track record in high-volume lead generation with measurable ROI
- Deep expertise across Meta, Google, YouTube, programmatic ads, retargeting, attribution & cohort analysis
- Experience leading teams and collaborating across sales, product, and marketing
- Strong analytical skills with comfort using CRMs, automation tools, dashboards, and A/B testing frameworks
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Nice-to-Have Experience
- Exposure to fintech, edtech, or distribution-heavy D2C/B2C models
- Experience managing influencer/creator networks or affiliate channels
- Understanding of vernacular content strategies and regional outreach
- Experience in environments with early-stage ambiguity as well as scale execution
