Designation : Director - Performance Marketing
Position: Director / Deputy Director - Performance Marketing
Experience: 7 - 10 Years
Location: Bangalore / Gurgaon, India
Key Responsibilities:
Performance Strategy & Revenue Growth
- Own the performance marketing P&L; maximise ROI across all paid channels.
- Build quarterly and monthly performance plans tied to revenue, CAC, and profitability goals.
- Lead full-funnel acquisition, conversion, and retargeting strategies.
Campaign Execution & AdTech Leadership
- Plan, execute, and optimise campaigns across Google Ads, Meta, DV360, YouTube SV, Programmatic platforms, LinkedIn, X, and affiliate networks.
- Leverage PMP deals, audience networks, custom bidding algorithms, and advanced optimisation strategies.
- Use first-party, second-party, and third-party data to build high-value segments and personalised journeys.
Experimentation & Growth Systems
- Design and run structured experiments (A/B, MVT, incrementality tests) to validate hypotheses.
- Build and optimise the growth funnel across acquisition, engagement, and retention stages.
- Continuously test new channels, formats, creative frameworks, and bidding strategies.
Analytics, Measurement & Insights
- Define and track KPIs for all performance channels and campaigns.
- Own attribution, reporting, and performance insights both tactical and strategic.
- Use data to identify revenue opportunities, eliminate inefficiencies, and guide decision-making.
- Team Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing performance marketing team.
- Work closely with product, design, engineering, analytics, and brand teams to align outcomes.
- Build a strong performance marketing operating system with weekly, monthly, and quarterly cadences.
Compliance, Quality & Innovation.
- Ensure all campaigns adhere to global data privacy and security practices (including DPDP, GDPR).
- Stay ahead of emerging AdTech trends, AI-powered optimisation, automation tools, and new channel opportunities.
Key Requirements:
- Experience & Expertise
- 7 - 9 years of deep, hands-on experience in performance marketing - ideally in travel, e-commerce, OTA, or high-growth consumer tech.
- Proven track record of managing large budgets and delivering strong ROI at scale.
- Advanced expertise in Google Ads, Meta, Programmatic Buying, DV360, YouTube SV, and retargeting ecosystems.
- Experience running granular data-driven campaigns using 1P/2P/3P audiences.
Technical & Analytical Strength
- Strong command of analytics, conversion optimisation, attribution modelling, and data-led decision making.
- Skilled in A/B and multivariate testing with a structured experimentation approach.
- Strong understanding of tracking infrastructure, pixels, GA4, GTM, MMPs, and feed optimisation.
- Leadership & Mindset
- A strong operator hands-on, fast, detail-oriented, and outcomes-driven.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-ownership environment.
