Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Leadership & People Management
- Lead and mentor a team of six HR Operations professionals, fostering a culture of high performance, accountability, accuracy, and continuous improvement.
- Develop and execute the strategic roadmap for the People Operations function, ensuring alignment with the overall business objectives of HR Codes Consulting.
- Manage team workloads, set performance goals, and provide ongoing coaching and development.
2. HR Operations Management (Hire to Retire)
- Oversee the end-to-end employee lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, transfers, promotions, and data management.
- Ensure all core HR processes are efficient, standardized, scalable, and documented.
- Drive initiatives to automate and streamline operational tasks to enhance efficiency and data integrity.
3. Policies, Governance, and Compliance
- Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies and procedures that comply with local labor laws (specifically for India/Bangalore/NCR) and best practices.
- Ensure rigorous HR Governance and data security standards are maintained across all systems and processes.
- Oversee and ensure 100% adherence to all statutory and labor compliances across the organization.
4. Payroll and Compensation Support
- Provide leadership and oversight for the monthly payroll cycle, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant processing.
- Partner with Finance and HR Business Partners on compensation administration processes.
5. HR Systems and Technology
- Act as the SME (Subject Matter Expert) and owner for all HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) and related technology platforms.
- Lead the selection, implementation, and optimization of HR technology to improve operational efficiency and employee experience.
6. Employee Relations and Grievances
- Manage and resolve complex employee grievances and disciplinary matters in a fair, consistent, and compliant manner.
- Serve as a trusted resource and partner for managers and employees on policy interpretation and operational issues.
Required Qualifications:
Education: Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. An MBA/Master's degree is highly preferred.
Experience: 10+ years of progressive experience in HR Operations, with a minimum of 3-5 years in a leadership role managing a team.
Domain Expertise: Deep knowledge and hands-on experience across the entire HR lifecycle, including Payroll, Statutory Compliance, HR Systems, and Policy development in India (Bangalore/NCR).
People Leadership: Proven ability to effectively lead, motivate, and develop a team of HR professionals.
Technical Proficiency: Strong expertise in managing and optimizing HRIS platforms (e.g., SAP SuccessFactors, Workday, Oracle HCM, or similar).
Compliance Acumen: Up-to-date, comprehensive knowledge of Indian Labor Laws, PF, ESI, Gratuity, and other relevant statutes.
