Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Operations Leadership:

- Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with the organization's global business objectives.

- Lead end-to-end operations across manufacturing, supply chain, procurement, quality, logistics, and customer service.

- Drive operational scalability to support growth across domestic and international markets.

- Establish robust operational governance, policies, systems, and performance standards.

2. Manufacturing & Operational Excellence:

- Drive world-class manufacturing practices with a focus on productivity, quality, cost optimization, and delivery performance.

- Implement Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, TPM, and other continuous improvement methodologies.

- Optimize plant capacity, resource utilization, production planning, and operational workflows.

- Ensure consistent delivery of high-quality consumables and solutions meeting global industry standards.

3. Supply Chain & Procurement:

- Strengthen global supply chain capabilities to ensure timely availability of raw materials and critical components.

- Drive strategic sourcing, vendor development, inventory optimization, and logistics efficiency.

- Mitigate supply chain risks and improve operational resilience across geographies.

- Develop strong partnerships with key suppliers and stakeholders.

4. Quality, Safety & Compliance:

- Ensure the highest standards of product quality, reliability, and customer satisfaction.

- Drive a strong culture of Health, Safety, Environment and Sustainability (HSE/ESG).

- Ensure compliance with applicable international quality, safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.

- Establish robust systems for quality assurance and continuous improvement.

5. Financial & Business Performance:

- Manage operational budgets, capital expenditure, and cost optimization initiatives.

- Drive improvements in operational profitability, productivity, and working capital.

- Monitor key operational and financial KPIs and take corrective actions where required.

- Support strategic initiatives to improve EBITDA and overall business performance.

6. Technology & Digital Transformation:

- Drive the adoption of Industry 4.0, automation, digital manufacturing, and data-driven decision-making.

- Promote the use of ERP, analytics, predictive maintenance, and other digital technologies.

- Identify opportunities for innovation and operational transformation.

7. Customer & Stakeholder Management:

- Work closely with Sales, Engineering, R&D, and Service teams to ensure superior customer experience.

- Support key customers across mining, mineral processing, and material handling sectors.

- Ensure operational capabilities are aligned with customer requirements and global market expectations.

- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

8. Leadership & People Development:

- Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing operational leadership teams.

- Build a culture of accountability, innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

- Develop succession plans and strengthen leadership capabilities across operations.

- Promote employee engagement and a strong performance-oriented culture.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Metallurgical, Mining, Industrial, or related discipline).

- Master's Degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or an MBA will be an added advantage.

- Certifications in Lean, Six Sigma, Supply Chain, or Operational Excellence will be preferred.

Experience & Competencies:

- 20+ years of progressive experience in operations, manufacturing, supply chain, or industrial leadership roles.

- Significant leadership experience in Mining, Mineral Processing, Material Handling, Heavy Engineering, Industrial Manufacturing, or related sectors.

- Proven experience in managing large-scale, multi-location and preferably global operations.

- Strong understanding of industrial consumables, wear solutions, mineral processing equipment, or engineered products will be highly desirable.

- Demonstrated success in driving operational transformation, cost optimization, and business growth.

- Strong financial and commercial acumen.

- Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and decision-making capabilities.
