Job Description :

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Director of Operations to lead the overall operations of our manufacturing plant in Mohali. This role is responsible for driving operational excellence, ensuring efficient resource utilization, managing budgets, and aligning manufacturing operations with the organization's strategic objectives. The ideal candidate will bring extensive leadership experience in manufacturing, with a strong focus on process optimization, cost management, quality, and business growth.

Key Responsibilities :

- Provide strategic leadership and direction across design, production, procurement, project execution, and plant operations.

- Develop and implement operational strategies that align with the company's vision, mission, and business objectives.

- Drive operational excellence by improving internal processes, enhancing productivity, and reducing operational costs.

- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to optimize manufacturing efficiency, quality, and delivery performance.

- Oversee plant operations to ensure adherence to safety, quality, environmental, and regulatory standards.

- Manage the operational budget, including forecasting, resource allocation, and cost control, to achieve business targets.

- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement corrective actions to improve operational performance.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and key stakeholders to support business growth and operational efficiency.

- Ensure effective utilization of manpower, equipment, and other resources to maximize productivity and minimize waste.

- Identify, investigate, and resolve operational issues by addressing root causes and implementing preventive measures.

- Oversee budgeting, reporting, operational planning, compliance, and internal/external audits for assigned functions.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support new product development, capacity expansion, and strategic initiatives.

- Mentor, coach, and develop leadership teams to foster a high-performance culture.

Candidate Profile :

Qualifications :

- Master's or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Experience :

- 25+ years of progressive experience in manufacturing operations, with significant leadership experience in a senior operations role.
