Key Responsibilities:

Operational Leadership:

- Lead the entire HVAC operations team, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations across all active sites and projects. (Operations & Maintenance - O&M)

- Develop and implement operational processes and SOPs to ensure consistent service delivery.

- Oversee project management for installation, repair, and maintenance services, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.

- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and reduce project cycle times.

Stakeholder Management:

- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, other function heads and partners.

- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, stakeholders, and vendors throughout the project lifecycle.

- Manage relationships with contractors, suppliers, and other external partners to ensure service delivery and client satisfaction.

- Leadership and team development: Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing team to achieve excellence in all areas of operational excellence.

- Build, manage, and mentor a team of regional operations managers, site engineers, and subcontractors to ensure optimal performance.

- Develop a second line of leadership within the operations teams to support succession planning and business growth.

Technology & Innovation:

- Drive the adoption of digital tools and technologies to streamline operations, enhance service delivery, and improve data accuracy.

- Keep abreast of industry trends and innovations in HVAC technology to maintain a competitive edge.

Financial Oversight:

- Develop and manage operational budgets - ensuring cost efficiency without compromising quality.

- Monitor key financial metrics and operational KPIs to ensure the profitability and financial health of HVAC operations.

Compliance & Safety:

- Develop and enforce safety standards and procedures to protect employees, customers, and the environment.

- Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.

- Anticipate project risks, resolve project issues, and ensure adherence to schedules.

Experiences & Background:

- 18 - 20 years of progressive experience in HVAC operations, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership role (Head / Director / AVP) with end-to-end responsibility for operations & maintenance, field service delivery and people management.

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent engineering discipline.

- Deep technical expertise in HVAC systems (design, installation, commissioning, preventive & corrective maintenance), energy-efficiency measures and sustainable building services; strong working knowledge of applicable building codes, standards and statutory regulations.

- Demonstrable experience operating in SLA-driven, handling a P1 (Priority 1) issues, rapid-turnaround needed as working within healthcare environments (hospitals, OT/ICU/critical-care) with zero downtime requirements.

- Proven track record of managing large projects and programmes with budgets in excess of INR 50 crore and owning operational P&L / budget accountability.

- Experience managing large, distributed teams (200+ headcount) across multiple sites and regions - structuring reporting lines, setting operating rhythms and building second-line leadership.

- Strong proficiency with technology and tools used in field operations and product O&M (FSM/CMMS, IoT telemetry, workforce apps, dashboards and product analytics).

- Excellent stakeholder management, client engagement and customer-handling skills, including escalation management.

- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, service environment, able to multi-task across concurrent projects & sites.
