About the Role
We are seeking a visionary and performance-driven Director of Operations to lead the catering division of a leading luxury hospitality group in Jaipur. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in five-star hotel banqueting, large-scale event management, and premium catering operations, ensuring unmatched guest experiences and operational excellence.
This is a strategic leadership position overseeing end-to-end catering operationsfrom planning and production to client experience and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage end-to-end catering and banquet operations, including large-scale events, conventions, and luxury gatherings.
- Drive operational excellence, ensuring the highest standards of service, quality, and customer satisfaction.
- Oversee and coordinate teams across culinary, service, logistics, and support functions, ensuring seamless execution.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with HNI clients, event partners, vendors, and hospitality stakeholders.
- Implement cost-control initiatives while maintaining premium service standards.
- Develop and execute growth strategies for expanding catering offerings, new markets, and large-format event opportunities.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) including service efficiency, guest satisfaction, and revenue performance.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, hygiene, and licensing regulations.
- Foster a high-performance culture through coaching, training, and people development.
Candidate Profile
- 12-18 years of leadership experience in luxury 5-star hotels, banquets, convention centers, or catering businesses.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale catering operations and high-profile events.
- Strong P&L ownership, cost management, and process-optimization skills.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder-management capabilities.
- Hands-on, strategic thinker who thrives in a fast-paced, high-pressure hospitality environment.
- Strong network and understanding of the luxury event and catering ecosystem.
- Hotel Management or Hospitality degree preferred; advanced business qualifications an advantage.
