Description:
The marketing director will lead all marketing, branding, and communication functions for a multi-vertical business, with a strong focus on mobility, retail, and service-driven segments. The role requires a strategic yet hands-on leader who can unify brand identity, accelerate digital transformation, and drive measurable business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Marketing & Brand Leadership:
- Develop and execute an organization-wide marketing strategy aligned with long-term business goals.
- Build and strengthen a cohesive brand identity across all business verticals.
- Shape strategic narratives for leadership communication with partners, media, and external stakeholders.
- Enhance brand visibility through integrated campaigns, storytelling, and regional initiatives.
Business Growth & Market Activation:
- Lead brand activation programs, new location launches, and customer engagement initiatives.
- Collaborate with industry partners and OEMs for co-branded marketing campaigns.
- Create and execute marketing plans for expansion into new markets and partnerships in the mobility ecosystem.
- Convert market insights into actionable business recommendations by analysing customer behaviour, competition, and industry trends.
Digital & Performance Marketing:
- Drive digital transformation across all marketing functions.
- Oversee SEO, SEM, CRM, social media, and paid digital campaigns to maximize lead generation and ROI.
- Establish a data-driven marketing culture focused on analytics, performance metrics, and customer lifecycle improvement.
- Implement marketing automation and personalized digital journeys using AI-driven tools.
Communication & Public Relations:
- Manage corporate communication, public relations, and media relationships.
- Ensure consistent, high-quality communication across internal and external stakeholders.
- Represent the organization in industry events, forums, and public platforms to strengthen brand reputation.
Leadership & Team Management:
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing marketing team across regional and digital functions.
- Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and results-driven execution.
- Manage agencies, creative partners, and vendors to ensure quality and efficiency.
- Oversee marketing budgets, performance tracking, and return on investment.
Qualifications (Mandatory):
- MBA/PGDM in Marketing or equivalent from a reputable institution.
- 10 to 15 years of marketing experience with 5+ years in senior leadership roles.
- Strong experience in automotive, mobility, retail, or consumer technology (preferred but not mandatory).
- Proven expertise in brand building, digital marketing, and B2C strategy.
Extensive travel is required
