Our client a leading Retail company is looking for a Marketing Director , based in Bangalore. Candidates with 12-14 years experience, specifically from Retail and QSR industry would be an ideal fit. This role will report to Chief Marketing Officer. Broadly the role will encompass the following: Strategic Excellence: Strategic Thought Leadership: Identifying topics and developing, selling in and embedding strategic recommendations to strengthen the- both at a brand strategy level (e.g. Brand Architecture, Brand Positioning Initiatives) as well as a marketing communications strategy level (e.g. Better Briefs and Briefings). Working with the CMO to develop consumer-led marketing thought leadership. There will be an emphasis on supporting Digital Marketing agenda - inspiring and enabling world class modern marketing that builds the brand and business. This is inclusive of helping to set priorities, providing strategic inspiration (internal/external) to the markets; facilitating Creative Effectiveness Workshops (digital as well as in person) as well as enabling sharing and embedding of best practice strategic approaches and briefs throughout the system. Executional Excellence: Partnering with internal and external key stakeholders to plan, coordinate and execute best in class virtual and in-person events and workshops. Manage the complete marketing lifecycle aligning to the strategic business plan - developing plans to help establish the brand, promote brand awareness, allocation of resources and manage marketing initiatives around ATL, BTL, Digital Media. Conduct periodic market research to derive insights on market trends- design trends/ seasonal trends etc. Launch and activation of promotions and events Project manage delivery of marketing programs against planned timelines Conceptualization and execution of brand promotions Work with agencies for outputs aligned to our core brand messaging Responsible for media planning, PR and agency management
