Position: Director Marketing

Reports to: Managing Director

Industry: Leading Publishing MNC

Key Responsibilities:

- Strategic Marketing Leadership: Design and implement marketing strategies to drive customer acquisition, retention, and revenue growth.

- Revenue management: Product development, pricing, market segmentation and GTM creation.

- Brand Management: Lead brand-building initiatives through integrated campaigns, partnerships, and digital innovation.

- Customer Experience: Oversee customer service excellence initiatives to improve satisfaction and loyalty (NPS-focused).

- Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize analytics and market insights to inform product, pricing, and promotional strategies.

- Team Development: Build and mentor a high-performing marketing team aligned with organizational goals.

Candidate Profile:

Education: MBA in Marketing from a Tier-1 institute.

Experience:


A minimum of 15 years in marketing, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership position. Ideal candidates will have a background in sectors such as education, publishing, FMCG, automobiles (preferably tire), consumer durables, consumer electronics, or digital-first businesses. Preference will be given to individuals who have played a key role in driving large-scale business expansion and revenue growth.

Skills:

- Proven track record in developing and executing marketing strategies including GTM that drive customer acquisition and retention.

- Strong leadership skills with experience in managing and developing high-performing teams.

- Excellent analytical abilities, with proficiency in using data to guide decision-making.

- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, crucial for engaging with stakeholders, both internal and external.

- In-depth knowledge of digital marketing channels and tools.

- Experience in customer service management and achieving high customer satisfaction metrics, directly addressing the NPS goal.

- Familiarity with the Indian education sector and market dynamics, ensuring cultural and market relevance
