A leading global pharma and life sciences consulting organization is seeking a Director - Market Research to lead and scale a high-impact insights function.
This senior leadership role blends strategic client advisory, practice building, and team leadership, with responsibility for delivering meaningful impact across pharmaceutical and biotechnology clients.
The role offers the opportunity to shape client strategy, drive innovation in market research and integrated insights, and build a high-performing India-based team with strong global exposure and visibility.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and grow the Market Research CoE, aligning delivery, talent, and strategy with global objectives.
- Build, mentor, and manage team.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, driving account growth, retention, and solution excellence.
- Lead proposals, RFP responses, and strategic client presentations.
- Drive innovation in market research, forecasting, and demand insights.
- Identify cross-sell and up-sell opportunities within existing accounts.
Ideal Candidate
- 8+ years of experience in consulting or advisory roles within pharma, biotech, or life sciences.
- Strong expertise in market research with exposure to forecasting and demand research.
- Strong track record of driving account performance through trusted client partnerships and exceptional service execution.
- Proven experience leading teams, client engagements, and practice growth.
- Excellent stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.
