We are in search of an imaginative and forward-thinking leader to join our team as the Head of Technology Innovation and Solutions. This individual will play a pivotal role in propelling technological advancements, fostering collaborative ideation between our technology and business teams, and crafting pioneering solutions to drive our firm's growth and competitiveness in the market. OVERVIEW: Assurance Services: The Firm's Assurance Services provide assurance on the financial performance, operations, and controls of a client's business. This helps businesses enhance external financial reporting and adapt to new regulatory requirements in accordance with local laws and international standards. Financial audits offer an independent opinion on a company's financial report and are crucial within the capital markets system. The Assurance group also aids organizations in external reporting on non-financial information, fortifying corporate governance procedures, and achieving social and economic goals related to corporate sustainability. IRM Services: - The IRM practice within the firm offers audit support services related to controls surrounding the financial reporting process. This includes financial business process and IT management controls. - Reviews of financial and operational applications/business process controls - Evaluations of IT general controls - Assessments of Operating System and Database security controls - Cybersecurity reviews - Sarbanes-Oxley compliance reviews - Data services (e.g., Computer-Assisted Audit Techniques (CAATs), data analytics) JOB DESCRIPTION Responsibilities: - The duties, roles, and responsibilities associated with this position will encompass: - Assessing business processes, anticipating requirements, identifying areas for enhancement, and devising and implementing solutions with a focus on technology, Cyber, information systems audits, and other Assurance offerings spanning various industries. - Comprehensive understanding of client Business Risks, Audit Risks, IT Risks, and the corresponding mitigating controls. - Acquiring a deep comprehension of client operations, processes, and business objectives to apply that knowledge effectively during engagements. - Conducting reviews of general computer and application controls, including ERPs such as SAP, Oracle, MS Dynamics, Hyperion, etc. - Performing Data Analysis using CAATs tools like Excel, ACL, SQL, etc. - Maintaining engagement stakeholders' connectivity, preparing and developing process summaries, and organizing meetings. - Overseeing continuous reviews of IT and business processes, including overall Project management. - Collaborating closely with client finance and IT personnel. Thought Leadership: - Contribution to solution development. - Possession of strong business acumen and staying updated on new developments in advisory services capabilities and industry knowledge. - Participation in and occasional leadership of practice initiatives such as knowledge management or thought leadership. People Related: - Expected to be a leader within the department/location and manage a team regarding staffing, appraisals, etc. - Coordination in developing the practice in terms of people, clients, and skills. - Functioning as a performance manager for junior staff, actively engaged in their training, coaching, and mentoring. Qualifications: Essential: - Sound knowledge of Risks and Controls in Business processes and IT General Controls with a minimum of 12+ years of relevant experience. - Excellent communication skills essential for a client-facing role. Desirable Experience: CISA / DISA / CISSP / CISM is highly desirable. The Individual: - Possesses extensive experience in IT Audit, IT Risk & Control Assurance space. - Previous exposure to Indian market client-facing/account management roles. - Familiarity with business development in consulting (Pre-sales support, proposals, RFP responses). - Demonstrates strong domain knowledge and understands risks in the operations of at least two industry sectors. - Consistent display of leadership skills. - Experience in process consulting/internal audit/risk consulting at a project manager level. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Ability to collaborate effectively in teams. - Capability to work well under pressure, meeting stringent deadlines and handling demanding client conditions that may necessitate extended working hours. - Willingness to travel within India for continuous extended periods. - Demonstrates integrity, values, principles, and work ethic, leading by example.
