Job Title: Director - IPO Advisory (Capital Markets)
Location: Delhi NCR
Department: Capital Markets / IPO Advisory
Role Summary
We are looking for an experienced professional to join as Director IPO Advisory, responsible for driving and strengthening our Capital Markets Advisory practice. The role involves independently managing IPO, SME IPO, and QIP assignments, advising clients on capital-raising strategies, and ensuring seamless execution from planning to listing.
Key Responsibilities
IPO & Capital Markets Advisory
- Lead the full advisory cycle for IPOs, SME listings, and QIPs, including readiness assessments, structuring, documentation, and regulatory coordination.
- Provide strategic inputs on valuation, equity story building, financial preparedness, governance improvements, and capital-raising options.
- Oversee end-to-end processes such as due diligence, DRHP preparation, SEBI and exchange interactions, and listing compliance.
Client & Stakeholder Management
- Act as a trusted advisor to promoters, CXOs, and PE/VC investors exploring public listing opportunities.
- Build strong working relationships with merchant bankers, legal firms, auditors, regulators, and industry bodies.
- Represent the firm in client presentations, investor discussions, and regulatory meetings.
Execution Leadership
- Drive project timelines, internal coordination, and quality of deliverables across Tax, Audit, Legal, Risk, and other teams.
- Identify execution risks, develop mitigation plans, and ensure smooth progression from mandate to successful listing.
Practice Building & Business Development
- Support business growth by engaging with high-potential companies planning capital-market events.
- Drive proposal creation, pitch discussions, and new opportunity tracking.
- Contribute to thought leadership, market insights, and internal capability development.
Team Leadership
- Guide and mentor analysts and managers involved in IPO, QIP, and compliance workstreams.
- Build execution excellence and foster a high-performance advisory culture.
Qualifications & Experience
- CA, MBA (Finance), CFA, or equivalent.
- 9-13 years of experience in capital markets, investment banking, or transaction advisory, with hands-on exposure to IPO/QIP/SME IPO processes.
- Strong understanding of SEBI regulations, ICDR guidelines, Companies Act, and listing frameworks.
- Proven track record in managing multiple capital-market transactions.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and client engagement skills.
