Role Overview:

Seeking an accomplished Director to lead high-value fundraising mandates and drive strategic business growth across India's startup and venture ecosystem. This leadership role offers end-to-end ownership of investment banking transactions from business development and mandate acquisition to fundraising execution and successful deal closures.

As a Director, you will work closely with founders, institutional investors, private equity funds, venture capital firms, and family offices while leading high-performing execution teams. This is an exceptional opportunity for experienced investment banking professionals who possess strong fundraising expertise, deep investor relationships, and a proven ability to independently originate and close transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead end-to-end fundraising transactions independently, ensuring successful execution from mandate acquisition to deal closure.

- Source and originate high-quality investment banking mandates across technology, digital, consumer, and high-growth sectors.

- Build and strengthen long-term relationships with domestic and international Private Equity (PE) funds, Venture Capital (VC) firms, institutional investors, and family offices.

- Advise founders on fundraising strategy, investor positioning, financial storytelling, and transaction execution.

- Drive fundraising processes, including investor outreach, financial modeling discussions, due diligence coordination, negotiations, and transaction management.

- Lead Analysts and Associates, providing mentorship, guidance, and execution oversight to ensure high-quality client delivery.

- Own business performance, revenue generation, and P&L accountability while contributing to the firm's overall growth strategy.

- Expand the investor network and strengthen relationships within the startup and investment ecosystem.

- Collaborate with founders, investors, legal advisors, and internal stakeholders to successfully execute multiple fundraising mandates simultaneously.

Required Qualifications:

- Demonstrated success leading and closing at least three fundraising transactions exceeding USD 7 million (preferred).

- Proven experience independently sourcing and executing investment banking mandates.

- Strong network across domestic and international Venture Capital (VC) Funds, Private Equity (PE) Firms, Family Offices, and Institutional Investors.

- Experience managing fundraising transactions from origination through successful closure.

- Prior experience leading teams of Analysts and Associates within an investment banking or corporate finance environment.

- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to manage revenue targets and business performance.

- Exceptional stakeholder management, negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.

- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage founders, investors, and senior executives.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience advising high-growth startups, technology companies, consumer businesses, or digital enterprises.

- Strong understanding of venture capital, private equity, mergers & acquisitions, and capital markets.

- Established relationships within India's startup ecosystem and global investment community.

- Experience managing multiple concurrent fundraising mandates while maintaining high execution quality.
