Director - Investment Banking

Hiring for the role of Director - Investment Banking.

Sector - Consumer, Tech, Chemical

Key Responsibilities

- Deal Execution - Run pitch books, valuation models (DCF, Comps, Precedent Transactions), and manage M&A, IPO, debt/equity offerings from start to close.

- Financial Modelling & Analysis - Build detailed Excel models, perform scenario & sensitivity analysis, and produce accurate forecasts.

- Client Interaction - Coordinate with senior bankers and clients, conduct presentations, negotiate terms, and maintain strong relationships.

- Due Diligence & Documentation - Prepare information memoranda, conduct due diligence, and ensure regulatory compliance and accurate filing.

- Market Research - Track sector trends, comparable transactions, and market conditions to provide strategic insights.

- Process Management - Coordinate cross- functional teams (legal, accounting, compliance), manage timelines, and ensure smooth deal closure.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Education: Bachelor's / master's in finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field; CFA / FRM/MBA is a plus.

- Technical Skills: Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, Word; proficiency in financial modelling, valuation, and Bloomberg/ Capital IQ.

- Analytical Ability: Strong quantitative and problem- solving skills; attention to detail.

- Soft Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, stakeholder management, and ability to thrive in a high- pressure environment.
